Queensland – Bus and rail travel

LoadingAdd to itinerary

A broad network of bus and rail services operates throughout Australia, from major cities to distant corners of the outback. In Queensland the public transport system is an extensive network of train, bus and ferry lines. For detailed journey information visit the Translink website. Here you can also find information about G:link – the Gold Coast light rail system, which stretches from Gold Coast University Hospital all the way down to Broadbeach South. One of the easiest ways to travel is to buy a go card, which can be used on all TransLink services – bus, train (including Airtrain), ferry and tram. Please consult your hotel concierge for more information on local bus services.
